The Shannonville Super Series tournament 2021

Despite the lockdowns and limitations imposed by the Covid epidemic, sports resurfaced in the summer of 2021.

“I had the privilege to photograph the Super Series Motorcycle race tournament”, said Michael Lekas to eaete.gr.

“Normally, this event is conducted over 4 dates( 4 rounds), but for 2021 it was condensed to 3 dates/rounds( July 9-11, August 20-21, September 17-19).

Various level groups defined by the horsepower of the motorcycle are featured and champions of each level are proclaimed at the end.
Normally this event features riders from Ontario, Quebec, and Northeastern USA. Unfortunately because of covid government restrictions, predominantly only Ontario riders were present.

The event was held at Shannonville Motorsport Park which is approximately 1.5 hours east of Toronto, Canada.”
